A lot goes into spill response and effective truck accident recovery. Pro-Enviro is dispatched when there is a motor vehicle fuel or oil spill, or when a load containing other hazardous material is lost on the road. In these blog archives, you’ll discover what is entailed with spill recovery. It includes assessment, creating a complete heavy vehicle accident management plan, and then getting to work with spill containment, collection, disposal and remediation.
In many cases, our team at Pro-Tow 24 Hour Towing is on the job too. Pro-Tow uses wrecker style cranes to help with the heavy lifting to get the accident site cleaned up so we can open it back up to local traffic. We also work alongside local agencies like the Washington State Police and Fire Departments, and the Washington Department of Transportation. If you want more information about what we do, contact us any time.

In this incident on November 30th, 2017, Pro-Enviro and Pro-Tow received a dispatch from Fleetnet for a double trailer tow at 9 - 16th street NW, Auburn, WA. OnSite service trucks, a certified technician and a class A driver with a heavy-duty tractor tow were dispatched to the site. The leaked fuel was also steadily flowing Northbound and had gone approximately 50 feet.
In this incident on October 21, 2019, Pro-Enviro was called to a load shift involving 50,000 lbs of rebar on a semi-truck and trailer on Southbound I-5 in Tacoma, WA. The semi-truck driver was forced to make an emergency stop after a passenger car in front of them slammed on their brakes.
On September 18, 2019, when this semi-truck and trailer jackknifed on the Interstate 5, it crashed into the guard rails. Because of the damage, both engine oil and diesel fuel spilled all over the highway during a busy traffic time. Team Pro-Enviro was called to the scene to execute effective semi truck spill recovery. We estimate about 200 gallons of hazardous fuel and oil was spilled in this incident.
