Serving Washington State and the Pacific Northwest with accident cleanup and spill response.
Accidents can happen quickly, but the aftermath often takes much longer to manage. In our line of work, we come across complicated truck recoveries, environmental contamination issues and debris spread across roadways and ditches.
Pro-Enviro by FleetEasy offers accident cleanup services, including vehicle fluid spill cleanup, cargo recovery and accident debris cleanup. In this article, we'll share a story of how we helped cleanup after an accident this winter and why fast recovery is vital for public safety and the environment.
Accident Caused by Wet Winter Conditions

In February, a Freightliner Cascadia semi-truck hauling a flatbed trailer lost control and went off the I-90, eastbound near Exit 80, and the Cle Elum weigh station. The vehicle crashed into a forested area, creating a challenging and hazardous scene.
Pro-Tow by FleetEasy responded quickly and worked through the snowy night to recover the semi-truck and trailer. But once our team towed them both away, it revealed a massive mess. Fortunately, no fuel, oil or other vehicle fluid had spilled in the crash, but the area was covered in debris, including vehicle parts, damaged materials, and environmental hazards that needed to be dealt with properly.
Pro-Enviro Gets to Work on Accident Debris Cleanup

In the morning, Pro-Enviro deployed a team equipped with a Bobcat and dump trailer to handle the accident debris cleanup. The ditch and side of the roadway were all dug up, and bits and pieces of the truck were scattered among the smashed trees.
We carefully picked up and loaded debris into the dump trailer. The Bobcat went over the embankment on the side of the road to smooth and clean it up. Every step was taken with safety and compliance in mind.
Proper Accident Cleanup is Critical
Accident recovery ensures safety, compliance, and protects the environment. Leftover debris, including vehicle fluids, can create serious risks for other drivers and first responders. Contaminated materials can harm plants, animals and ecosystems. Plus, there are liability concerns for those involved in the accident, property owners and municipalities.
That’s why there are regulations around accident recovery that must be adhered to. It needs to be handled quickly and correctly by professionals who know what they’re doing.
