Fuel Spill Cleanup
Team Pro-Enviro arrived at the scene to see that a detailed and extensive cleanup was required for this, so after a scene assessment, we got to work. Using the necessary equipment and absorbent pads, we contained the spill and cleaned it up. We then inspected the nearby storm drain, which had been contaminated with some of the fuel and also needed cleaning.
Storm Drain Cleanup
Protecting storm drains is vital to any spill cleanup. Storm drains that become polluted with fuel spills affect the health of local rivers, streams, the land and local wildlife. The damage can quickly spread far beyond the initial spill site, which is why Team Pro-Enviro does everything we can to contain spills and protect the drains.
Companies also have it in their best interest to avoid storm drain spills, which come with costly fees and fines. The oil spill response tax rate is one cent per 42-gallon barrel of crude oil or petroleum products. The administration tax rate for oil spills is four cents per 42-gallon barrel. In addition, cleanup spill kits can cost between $5,000 and $10,000, adding to a costly recovery.
Leaving cleanups and storm drain cleanup or protection to Pro-Enviro is always for your benefit. We handle the job quickly and safely, first and foremost for every job. We do everything we can to contain the spill, protect the waterways, and limit the damage and cost of the spill.
